We carry out additional pressings using the old press in the days/weeks around festival day too*. You are welcome to come and observe the whole process to make juice from the apples & learn about it's historical importance to rural life of yesteryear.

The route for the event is still being finalised but...

it will start at 6.00pm

(which includes the The Old Apple Press & Visitor Centre Orchard Garden - Dovery Manor Museum Orchard Garden - Sparkhayes Farm Orchard - Porlock Vale Community Orchard)

As well as the outside frivolity, there will be a performance by the Mummers Players somewhere for all to enjoy... details soon.

Please wear stout footwear, bring a torch or lantern, saucepan lids wooden spoons, whistles, clackers or anything to make a really loud noise!

This is a FREE EVENT for all ages.

(Please be aware that there may be loud reports from shotguns as part of the Wassail Ceremonies in the Orchards - a bit like fireworks)
